Entrusted with the responsibility of Head of the Administration and Human Resources Department at the Kedah State Zakat Board at such a young age surely benefits 26 year old alumni of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Muhammad Faiz bin Hussin Shokri, to acquire as much knowledge and experience as possible in both leadership and management. In addition, he was appointed to the Sharia and Law Faculty Advisory Panel at USIM for 2 years, from 2016 to 2018.

Already married and currently living in Alor Setar, Kedah, he is a former student of Maahad Tahfiz Al-Quran Wal Qiraat Pulai Chondong, Machang, Kelantan, where he finished memorizing all 30 Juz’ (Parts) of the Quran by the age 15. He also exhibited excellent performance during the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) by acquiring 11As and 1B, before being accepted into the Sharia and Law Tamhidi (Foundation studies) of USIM, and then continuing with his Bachelor studies in Sharia and Law. Also an active university debater, he graduated with a First Class Honors Degree. Follow this talk with him as an inspiration to all readers.
